We got hammered with rain and hail this weekend as the monsoon season picks up weeks earlier than usual. One of the reasons why, as a collective and individual members, we diversified into garlic seed and culinary garlic sales, is this crop's resilience.
We all still grow loads of other cool and warm season crops and we all suffered some hail damage (these crops should recover) but the garlic still looks fantastic and unfazed. Putting in a request for a lot of gentle rain... and no hail for the rest of the summer.
