Now that the temps have dropped and the cool fall breeze has arrived... it's time to plan out your fall planting of Seed garlic! In Southwest Colorado, we plant our garlic beds/fields in mid to late October. This is perfect amount of time for the garlic cloves to settle in and send out roots before winter arrives.
We still have several Hardneck Seed Garlic and Softneck Seed Garlic Varieties in stock in our Online Garlic Store. We recommend planting 2-4 varieties to see which perform best in your location.
Here are the Colorado Grown Seed Garlic Varieties we still have available:
- Chesnok Red Seed Garlic
- Duganski Seed Garlic
- Georgian Crystal Seed Garlic
- Music Seed Garlic
- Inchelium Red Seed Garlic
- Susanville Seed Garlic
- Lorz Italian Seed Garlic
- Red Toch Seed Garlic
- Transylvanian Seed Garlic
