We do our best to build soil health through cover cropping with the water we have available, which varies year to year.
With a healthy amount of snow during the winter months and a cool wet spring, the fall seeded field of triticale at Mountain Roots Produce was gorgeous. Here you can see the cover crop being flail mowed mid-Summer.
